KITTERY, Maine — Albert A. Michaud Jr., 69, of 46 Martin Road, died Saturday at the York Hospital in York, Maine, after a period of failing health.He was born on Oct. 11, 1935, in South Berwick, Maine, the son of Albert A. and Gladys (Littlefield) Michaud Sr. and had been living in Kittery for the past four years, moving from Dover, N.H. He was the widower of Veronica (Dugan) Michaud, who died in 2001. He was formerly employed at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover as a maintenance man, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served eight years. He loved fishing, hunting and lobstering.Surviving members of the family include one sister, Joan and her husband, Roland Tanguay, of Lebanon; two nephews; one niece; one grandniece and one grandnephew.The family wishes to express a special thanks to the Deacon Hospice of York, Maine, for their wonderful support.————A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, N.H., followed with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Dover, N.H.
