Obituary of Albert-A. Lee


SARDIS, Ga. - Mr. Albert Austin Lee, 69, died at his residence on Wednesday February 8, 2006. He was born in Burke County on August 21, 1936 to the late A.S. and Carrie Johnson Lee. He was a former employee of Continental Can Paper Mill, Augusta and was a veteran of the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2006 in the DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Yonce Lively officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Lee in 2001. He is survived by one daughter, Scarlet L. Smith (Al), Sardis; three sons, Ronnie A. Lee of Savannah, Terry Randal Lee (Jeanelle), Sardis and Allen Al Lee (Kathy) Sardis. He is also survived by grandchildren, Joshua A. Lee, Michael B. Lee, Kristen R. Lee, Lee Smith, Erica Smith and Noah Lee and great grand child Skylar Smith. Pallbearers will be Lee Smith, Curtis Peterson, Herbie Elliott, Norbit Tobias, Tellie Holland, Norman Elliott, Ernest Johnson, Jr. and Ralph Odom. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2006.
