Albert A. Johnson, 71, Port Charlotte, died at home Aug. 19, 2004. He was born March 13, 1933, in Ashland, Wis., and came to Port Charlotte 10 years ago from Panama City. He had a master's degree in social work and was a counselor. Survivors include sons Douglas of Lakeland, Grant of Fort Lauderdale and Todd of North Carolina; a daughter, Netty Anhorne of Bradenton; and six grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial service later. Burial will be private. Kays-Ponger/Royal Palm Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel, is in charge.
