SIMPSON, Agnes Sylvia October 28, 1914 June 3, 2006 Agnes Sylvia Simpson died peacefully at home on her farm surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, sister Violet, and brothers Aubrey, Tom and Laurie. Agnes is survived by her sister Margaret, her sons Peter (Margaret) of Brentwood Bay, John (Joan) of Delta, and her grandchildren Christopher (Stacey), Darryl (Tanya), Julia (Curt) and Laura, as well as great grandchildren Sylvia, Nicholas and Jeremy. Agnes was born in Lee, Massachusetts and lived in Victoria and the Saanich Peninsula. She was passionate and knowledgeable about her horses and dogs and she loved boating, an interest she shared with Jack and her family and for many years cruised the waters of the B.C. Coast. Both were active members of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (Saanich Peninsula Squadron) and Agnes was recently awarded her 20 years service/ lifetime membership award for her service to the Squadron. Her family and friends will miss her. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Community Health and Beacon Home Support for their caring and support. Service will be held at St. Stephen's Church, 7921 St. Stephen's Road, Saanichton on Friday, June 9th at 11:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined however if desired, donations to the S.P.C.A. or the heart and Stroke Foundation may be made in Agnes's name. 253820
