Simpson, Agnes (Day) Rochester: Passed away December 16, 2009 at the age of 94. Predeceased by husband, Clifford and granddaughter, Kylie. Survived by her children, Tom (Carolyn) Simpson, Judy Day, P.J. (Gus) Simpson-Haidaris; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Agnes served in the Army Nurses Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant during WWII. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and painting, especially landscapes. In 1986 at the age of 70, Agnes received her Bachelor's of Science Degree from St. Joseph's College in Maine. No prior calling. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 18th at 2 PM at St. John's Meadows in the Briarwood All Purpose Room. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Rochester School for the Deaf, 1545 St. Paul St., Rochester, NY 14621.
