Agnes-Nicholson-Kermish Lee, born in 1919, daughter of William and Maudie-Mae, died on December 25, 2009 at 90 years old.
Decatur<!-- Kermish Lee -->Funeral for Agnes Nicholson Kermish Lee, 90, of Decatur, who passed away Dec. 25, 2009, at her home surrounded by loved ones, will be Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Chitwood officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Lee was born May 7, 1919, in Franklin County to William Monroe and Maudie Mae Nicholson. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church for 50 years. She was a lifelong member of D.A.V.A. of Falkville and was on the High-Low Bowling League. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Luther, Blutt and Clyde Nicholson; and three sisters, Selma Byrd, Eula King and Mallie Hall. Survivors include two sons, Wendall Lee and his wife, Virginia Nicholson, of Hartselle and John Wayne Kermish and his wife, Connie, of Falkville; one daughter, Hazel Willodean Tankersley of Hartselle; one brother, James Nicholson of Sylacauga; and one sister, Lassie Vandiver of Haleyville. Pallbearers will be Keith Tankersley, Mark Tankersley, Howard Nicholson, Pat Nicholson, Carey Walker and Andrew Kermish. Honorary pallbearers will be Quinn Tankersley, Gerome Tankersley, Sheronia Morrow, Kaye Woods, Pam Richason, Sander Chamberlain and DeDe Nicholson.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
