Stewart, Agnes G. TROY Agnes G. Robinson Stewart, 86, died Sunday, December 23, 2007, after a long illness at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Benning-ton, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Effie Snyder Robinson. Agnes was a graduate of Troy High School. She was veteran World War II, serving in the Women's Army Corps. She was employed as a registered nurse in various doctors office prior to her retirement from Hudson Valley Community College Agnes was an avid fan of the casinos, Saratoga Race Track and O.T.B. Survivors include two daughters, Shelly D. Gabriel of Cohoes and Sandra G. Kelly of Poestenkill; one son, Jay J. Stewart of Greenfield, N.Y.; a sister, Shirley Strait of Vt. Also survived by many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Florence Thomas. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations maybe made to the Animal Shelter or Animal Society of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the John H. Clinton Funeral Home, Washington Park and Third Street, Troy.
