ObituaryAgnes G. (Pitts) Stewart, 83, of Braintree and Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Quincy, passed away May 14, 2007. Beloved wife of Bernard C. Stewart of 59 years. Devoted mother of Bernard C. Stewart Jr., James Stewart, Mary Anne Boelcskevy, Maureen Stewart Spillane, Marilyn Talley, Marla Woods, Marie Poulos, Alan Stewart , Marissa Stewart White the late DonaldV Stewart. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren. Loving sister of Mary Concilio, the late Mildred Hogan, and Connie Thorley. Born and raised in Quincy, she graduated from North Quincy High School. She worked for Jordan Marsh for over twenty years and was responsible for organizing several local groups, among them the Sunshine Club, (HHO) Happiness is Helping Others Club, and the 456 Bowling League. After retirement, she and her husband traveled extensively from Japan to New Zealand, from Mexico to Prince Edward Island, Canada, and all across the United States. In her later years, Agnes remained an avid reader and crossword puzzle expert as well as a fan of both Foxwoods and the Red Sox. Her loving presence will be missed by all.
