Loving wife, mother, and grandmother; 83 FITCHBURG -- Agnes D. (Drinkwine) Brassard, 83, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Fitchburg, after an illness.She leaves her husband of 65 years, Charles E. Brassard; two sons and their wives, Ralph C. and Pamela Brassard, Steven E. and Karen Brassard, all of Fitchburg; one daughter, Rebecca A. St. Armand and her fiancé, Mark Dee of Leominster; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by a son, Michael D. "Mickey" Brassard in 1999, a brother, Phillip Drinkwine, and two sisters, Helen Wood and Mildred Lavoie.She was born in Fitchburg on April 16, 1928, a daughter of the late David and Marguerite (McElroy) Drinkwine. She was educated in Fitchburg Schools, and worked at CVS Pharmacy, Woolworth, and retired from Foster's Insurance Co, in 1990. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, and will be missed by her family.BRASSARD -- Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011, from the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli and the Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 243 Water Street, Fitchburg with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church 46 Woodland Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard's Cemetery, off St. Bernard's Street, Fitchburg, MA. Calling Hours will be in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5:00 -- 8:00 P.M.
