DOVIE MAE ROBINSON Age 75, of Jupiter, Florida passed away Thursday afternoon January 16, 2003 after a brief illness. Mrs. Robinson was born September 20, 1927 in Okeechobee, Florida, daughter of the late Wyatt and Ethel Ussery. She had been a resident of the Palm Beaches for the past 60 years. She will be remembered as a loving, devoted mother and was a member of the Women of the Moose and was a volunteer at Lawnwood Medical Center, Ft. Pierce. She was preceded in death by her long companion Walter P. Yucius in 1998 and her daughter Phyllis Jean Groo Newell on April 28, 2001. Survived by her children: Larry Dotson of Lantana, FL; Charles "Chuck" Robinson of Singer Island, FL; and Deborah Robinson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her brothers Edgar Ussery and Harry Ussery, her adored grandchildren Vincent, Richard, Vanessa, Ryan and Jesse. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday January 20, 2003 at TAYLOR & MODEEN FUNERAL HOME, 250 Center St., Jupiter with Dr. Albert "Skip" Bush officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in Mrs. Robinson's memory.
