MICHAUD _ Adrien Laurier - late of Maple Ridge and formerly of North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Born one of 13 children in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec in 1918, Laurier passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, after a lengthy battle with cancer and advanced Alzheimer's, on October 27, 2002 at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by his wife Doris Margaret Turnbull in 1993. He is survived by his daughter Carol (Paul) and granddaughter Melissa; son Roy (Laura) and grandsons Adrien and Nathan; sister Jean d'Arc Kenny and brother Paul-Emille Michaud, both living in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Burkeview Family Funeral Care, 1340 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 1st at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 22561 - 121 Avenue, Maple Ridge. Special thanks to Barbara, his caregiver, Dr. Kevin Sommi and the nurses in Emergency, 3 West and 2 West at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
