SEHLINGER, ADOLPH JOHN "JACK" III, 80, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009 at his home. He was a lawyer for the federal government and a retired lieutenant commander in the Navy and Navy Reserves after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph John Sehlinger Jr. and Beatrice Cassilly; his daughter, Susan Sehlinger, and his sister Jane Herde. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Antoinette "Bunny" Ott Sehlinger; his sons, Anthony M.D. (Christiane), Thomas M.D. (Diane), Paul (Deana), and Brian (Lisa Jean) Sehlinger; and his daughter, Lisa (Darren) Turner. His funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Ave., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 -8 p.m. at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus, Mass of the Air or Crusade for Children
