->MADISON -- Adeline M. Smith, 72, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Maplecrest Rehabilitation & Living Center in Madison.She was born June 8, 1934, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Earl and Lillian (York) Foss.Her husband, Ivan A. Smith, and a brother, Clayton Foss, died previously.Abby is survived by her children, Randy Smith of Liberty, Charlotte Claar of East Moline, Ill., and Linda Smith of Madison; five grandchildren; four sisters, Frances Tuttle of Skowhegan, Ruth Moore of North Anson, Shirley Gordon of North Anson and Erma Atwood of Canaan; and two brothers, Earl Foss of Madison and Frederick Foss of NorridgewockAt Adeline's request there will be no funeral service. Interment will be in the Emery Cemetery in Anson.Cremation arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.
