Mrs. Adeline Henderson of Dover passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, Monday, April 19, 2010. Visitation is April 22, 2010, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Born and raised in Newark, Adeline was a resident of Dover for 57 years. She was a member of the First Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dover. Adeline worked as a legal secretary at Exxon International, Florham Park, and retired in 1997, after 19 years. She loved to dance, and after her retirement, spent many happy afternoons attending dances with her friends. A beautiful person inside and out, Adeline's greatest joy and passion in life were her "treasures," her four children and beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Lynn Troianelli and her husband, Dennis, of Basking Ridge, Pam Jenkins and her husband, Ron, of Westwood, Jeff and his wife, Maria, of Dover, and her daughter-in-law, Louise Henderson, of Killdevil Hills, N.C. Adeline is also survived by six grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Marc, Mariah, John, and Martha, and two brothers, Milton Rachow of Chula Vista, Calif., and J. William Gorman of North Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice, in 1983, and her son, Brad, in 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, N.Y. 13057.
