Ada Katherine Hogue Morrison, 76, Clarksville, TN, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12 at Sykes Chapel with Rev Chuck Denton and Rev Joseph R Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs Morrison was born October 21, 1932 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Edgar Hogue, Sr and Ada York Hogue. She is preceded in death by siblings Mildred Hall, Lucille Hall, Edgar Hogue, Jr., and Edna Thornton. She retired from Jostens, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Circle of Grace. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Donald Morrison; daughters Jan Morrison and Sherri (Chuck) Wood; sister Frances Ferrell. The light of her life was her grandchildren Jessica and Rachel Wood. Pallbearers will be Chuck Wood, Kenny Lannom, Steve Lannom, Eddie Ferrell, Nelson Kennedy, Scott Russell and Robert Mackens.
