SAVARD, Abraham Earl 1916 2007 "Here's the set-up " (one of his favourite expressions). Dad passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007. He was born in Arnprior, Ontario and joined the RCAF in 1940 where he served for twenty-five years in the police. When he retired as CO of ESIU, he worked for the Office of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. He is predeceased by the love of his life, Gladys, dearly loved by his sons Earle and Dan, daughter-in-law Marion, grandson Dian, brother Emmett and many nieces and nephews. He was much appreciated for his sense of humour, his kindness and his storytelling. We wish to sincerely thank his doctor, Bill Shoichet; as well as the entire staff at Douglas House for the kindness and loving care that they gave Dad for the past seven years. It was truly his home. A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Friday, July 20th at 11 :00 AM. 388296
