WILLIAMS, Ashley Anne, 15, a resident of Montgomery, AL, a 10th grader at Trinity Presbyterian School and a member of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church, died Wednesday, October 31, 2001. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 4, 2001, at 2 p.m. from Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church (Main Sanctuary) with Rev. John Ed Mathison, Rev. John Schmidt, Rev. Tim Miller and Brian Willett officiating. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 3, 2001, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church (East Sanctuary). Survivors include her parents, Laura and Billy Williams; brother, Ben Williams, all of Montgomery, AL; grandparents, Sally and Ray Lauber, Wilcomico Church, VA, Helen and Whirlee Williams, Montgomery, AL; aunts and uncles, Annette Lauber, Raleigh, NC, Suzette and Greg Dopeke, Midolthian, VA, Becky and Rex Martin, Montgomery, AL, Bille Jane and Willie Williams, Eclectic AL; numerous cousins, relatives, friends, classmates, teammates, coaches and teachers. Pallbearers will be Adam Dyess, Jack Bartlet, Max Coblentz, Reynolds Cook, Taylor Goodwin, Jon English Lee, Chris McCaghren and Hoke Sullivan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity Scholarship Fund, 1700 E. Trinity Blvd. Montgomery, AL, 36106 or one's favorite charity. Ashley's friendliness, cheerful personality, and love for others were a blessing to all that knew her. Ashley's favorite verse was Timothy 4:12, 'Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.' Although young in years, Ashley set an example for her family & friends as exemplified, in her dedication to her sports, academics, & Lord.
