SMITH, Mrs. Annie Ruth Campbell, a resident of Tallassee, AL, died Sunday, September 23, 2001. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. from Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Tallassee, AL. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tallassee, AL. McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff directing. She is survived by her husband, Ed W. Smith, Tallassee, AL; one daughter, Tahlia C. McClain, Stone Mountain, GA; three sisters, Nellie C. (S. rnon) Spears, East Tallassee, AL, Edythe C. (Styneau B.) Turner, Minden, LA and Frances C. (James) Johnson, Tuskegee Institute, AL; one sister-in-law, Bettye R. Campbell, Bordentown, NJ; three step-children, Bessie (Melvin) Morris, Milton Smith and Wilford Smith, all of Tallassee, AL; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
