Funeral Service for Annie Mae Johnson, 95, Daytona Beach, who died April 17, 2011 in Daytona Beach, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Evans L. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours are today (Friday, April 22) from 5-9 p.m. at R.J. Gainous Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. Ms. Johnson was born in Midville, GA and moved to this area in 1943 from Georgia. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves, also attending her sewing club and Senior Dining Center. Survivors include her sister, Katherine Awkard; grandchildren: Debbie Edwards (Jesse), Johnny Ray Jackson, Leon Chappelle (Ester), Lllewlyn Jackson, Mary Ann McClain; great-grandchildren: Jessica Yan (Renaldo), Tramayne Chap-pelle, J'Neese Jackson, Jontae Jackson, Sonjtikka Mitchell; great-great-grand-children: Jalica Yan, Reniyah Yan, Rheanna Yan, Renaldo Yan, Jr., Tramayne Chappell, II, Jordan Jones, Sonjae Taylor; son, Dan Fields (Ceriliat); Godson, Albert Williams; Goddaughter, Robin Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
