->MURPHY, ANNE V. (nee Paget)A resident of Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully on Monday September 10, 2012, just two days before her 92nd Birthday. Born in Limerick Ireland, she came to The United States in 1946 as the war bride of her beloved husband the late John E. Murphy of Corning who died in 1986. Anne was also pre-deceased by her siblings: one brother and four sisters. Mrs. Murphy is survived by her son, Michael John Murphy (Life partner Max George) of Rockville, Maryland and her daughter Moira (William) Reichard of Depew, NY. Her only grandchild Amy Anne Martineau lives in Amherst, NY. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews in America and England. To honor Mrs. Murphy's wishes, there will be no funeral services and a private interment was held. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY.
