Anne A. Hanley, a longtime resident of New Rochelle and formerly of Hurley, died on February 27, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was 70 years-old. Mrs. Hanley was born on January 6, 1940 in the Bronx to the late Eugene and Adele Warren Forkin. Mrs. Hanley was loving wife to Joseph M. Hanley. Joe and Anne were married at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in City Island on December 29, 1962. Mrs. Hanley was a member of the Morris Yacht and Beach Club on City Island and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. Anne Hanley was a devoted mother to her six children, Veronica Rivera and her husband Greg, Helene Leys and her husband George, Mary Kay Wynne and her husband Sean, Joseph M. Hanley Jr., Thomas J. Hanley and his wife June, and Seamus B. Hanley. Mrs. Hanley will be remembered as a vibrant compassionate woman, who was a loyal friend to many. Her light and humorous heart will be missed, but will live on in her 19 grandchildren. Visiting Tuesday & Wednesday 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Lloyd Maxcy& Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY.
