She moved to the area in 1955. She was a retired Lee County educator from Villas Elementary School. She attended Beloit College, Edison Junior College and graduated from the University of South Florida. Sorority memberships included Kappa Alpha Theta and Beta Sigma Phi. She was President of the PTA County Council and a charter member of the Fort Myers Swim Club and The Pilgrims Church. Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Charles, two daughters, Susan Gresham and husband Travis and Kathy Fritz and husband Rob. Her daughter Marilyn Stringfellow died September 9, 2011. She adored her wonderful grandchildren: Kevin Stringfellow (deceased); Doug and Kim Fritz; and Alex and Erin Gresham. A celebration of her life will be held at Church of the Cross, June 21, 11:00 am with a reception following. Memorials may be made to Church of the Cross or Page Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
