Anita Louise Simon of Somers, formerly of West Harrison, passed away on September 16, 2006 at Putnam Hospital. She was 60. Anita was born on July 1, 1946 in Mt. Vernon to Alfred and Ida (Gabrione) Simon. She worked as an Accounts Clerk at the White Plains Board of Ed for 33 years. Anita loved to travel and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was a member of the Roma A.C. in White Plains. Anita is survived by her cherished niece Gina Giamburro, a brother-in-law John Giamburro, both of Somers. Two cousins, Ralph Giamburro (Susan) of Pearl River, Charles (Mary) Scarpulla of Valley Cottage, NY. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Margaret Giamburro on June 8, 2006. Visiting on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 AM, St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
