Angela Ippolito passed away on October 4, 2002 at her residence in Middletown, NY. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Ippolito was born November 9, 1916 in Mt. Vernon to Nobilio and Pasqualina Isola Molle. Mrs. Ippolito was a School Teacher for the Mount Vernon Public Schools for many years. She retired in 1984. She later became the Activities Director for Senior Citizens in Mount Vernon, working for the Recreation Department. Mrs. Ippolito was also active as a volunteer for Rosary Hill Nursing Home in Hawthorne. She is predeceased by her husband Justo Ippolito. Survivors include a son, Bernard Ippolito and his wife Laura Anne and a daughter Mary Ann Ippolito. Two grandchildren also survive: Justin and Peter Ipppolito. Also surviving are three sisters: Mary Maresco, Josephine Gigliotti, and Irma Hunt. Predeceased are two brothers and three sisters. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10 AM, St. Ursula's Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visiting hours: Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, preferred.
