Alice Bray went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 71 years young. She passed away at home with her family by her side. Alice was born on January 29, 1936 to Louis and Antoinette Tellone in New York City. On June 8, 1953, she married her one and only love, Gordon Bray. She was a housewife and mother of four until her children were older, at which time she became the Bookkeeper for St. Brendan's Rectory in the Bronx and later, St. John's Rectory in Riverdale. She is survived by her husband, Gordon of Thiells, NY and her children, Gordon Bray, Jr. of San Francisco, CA, Luann Colao (husband, Steve) of Pomona, NY, David Bray (wife, Adelyne) of Bronx, NY and Lisa Zukaitis (husband, Lance) of Thiells, NY. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren Jean Beltran (Danny), Michael O'Hanlon (Caroline), Brian O'Hanlon (Kristi), Alicia Zukaitis, Joshua Bray (Tiesha), Felicia Bray, Timothy Bray, Matthew Bray. She was also lucky to know her three great-grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia, and Javin. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Merolla (Anthony) and brother Louis Tellone (Lulu) and many loving nieces and nephews. Mom, thanks for showing your whole family how much love you can spread in a lifetime. Our love for you will always continue until the day we meet again in God's kingdom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 10:15 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church. Interment will be private.
