Alice Jean (Patricia) Curry, 73, long time resident of Carmel, passed away on October 15, 2007 following a lengthy illness. Born in 1934 Talladega, Alabama, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Pauline Fant. After relocating to Brooklyn Heights, she married the love of her life, Edward Kieran Curry. Her family was her most precious gift; her children, Deborah (Joseph) Piacente, John (Kathleen) Curry, Dennis (Maureen) Curry, Eileen (Kevin) Kelly, and Kevin (Sharyl) Curry continue to reside in the Carmel area. Her sense of humor and passion for life was only surpassed by her great love for 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pat was employed for over 38 years by Putnam Hospital Center and their Home Care Department. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. James the Apostle Church. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
