Obituary of Alfred-James Jordan


JORDAN, Alfred James, 78, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 10:00 AM from St. Bede Catho-lic Church with Rev. David To-karz and Rev. David Carucci officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Jor-dan is preceded in death by his son, Al Jordan, Jr. He is sur-vived by his loving wife Helen Jordan; three sons, Patrick Jor-dan of Montgomery, AL, Mark Jordan of Houston, TX, Brian Jordan of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Anne Jordan Rey-nolds of Montgomery, AL; sister, Eloise (Sis÷ Taff of Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Ret. Army Col. Clarence Eugene Jordan, Jr. of the Villages, FL, Kirk Jordan of Sarasota, FL, eight grandchil-dren, 5 great-grandchildren, and countless wonderful friends and neighbors. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Jordan, Dylan Jordan, Robert Reynolds, Jimbo Cannon, Ricky Monroe, and Sidney Schroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James Faulkner, John Dowe, Harold Nichols, Larry McGinn, Ed Azar, Jim Go-lemon, Dr. Jesse (Ace÷ Austin, Alfred Sullivan, and the East Montgomery Exchange Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Montgomery, 1111 Holloway Park, Montgomery, AL 36117. Leak-Memory Chapel Directing
