Agnes E. Anderson Miller, 86, of Peekskill, formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died Tuesday September 16 at the New York State Veterans' Home at Montrose. She was born in Buchanan to Ernst and Agnes Johnson Anderson. She married Gus Miller on May 18, 1947, and worked with the family, operating Miller's Restaurant in Peekskill for many years. Gus predeceased her in 2005. She enjoyed reading, shopping and garage sales, and was a loving mother and proud grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Pat Taylor of Otego, NY and Connie (Fran) Frye of Montrose, brother Ralph (Jo) Anderson of Buchanan, and her grandchildren Kevin (Lisa) Frye, Christopher (Carolyn) Frye and Matthew Frye, and Joshua and Jennifer Taylor. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 23 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
