<br><br><br>MILLER -->A. DORISMILLER, 83Nurse/Homemaker LAKELAND - Mrs. A. Doris Miller, 83, died on December 14, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice of cancer. She was born September 28, 1925 in La Plata, Maryland. She was of the Christian Faith. Mrs. Miller graduated from Grace New Haven Nursing School and she was a nurse in New Haven, CT. and Providence Rhode Island, a member of Winter Haven Bridge Club, she was a longtime Winter Haven Hospital Volunteer, she loved to do embroidering and spending time with her friends, and she loved her sister-in-law Gail, as a sister. Predeceased by her brother Glenn McBeath. Survivors include sons, Christopher Miller, Florida, Peter G. Miller, New Jersey, Jeffery P. Miller, South Carolina, daughter, Diane Mary Kern, California, 3 grandchildren, brother, Stan McBeath and sister Norma Sturges, Colorado.
