Mr. Williams was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine O'Hannon Williams who died December 1, 2010.Surviving family include his sons, Michael, Charles and Eric Williams; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; the O'Hannon family; other relatives and friends.A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Phyllis Martin officiating. The Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team will perform military rites. Ray & Allen Funeral Service is assisting the Williams family.
