Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for William Michael Smith, 51, of Decatur will be Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Smith, who died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at his residence, was born Oct. 1, 1957, in Cook County, Ill., to Wilmer Smith Jr. and Betty Knight Randolph. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include daughters, Sandi Smith and husband, Jason, and Sommer Borden; mother, Betty Randolph; stepmother, Nina Smith; stepfather, Wendell Randolph; brother, David Smith and wife, Angie; sisters, Sherry Franks and husband, Donald, Debbie Singleton and husband, Bobby, and Joan Harris and husband, Jamie; stepsisters, Regina Smith, Angela Eskridge and husband, Joey, Regina Terry and husband, Bryan, Wendy Spears and husband, Tim; and grandchildren, Mckinlee Borden, Riley Smith and Raelynn Smith. Palbearers will be Cody Smith, Jeffrey Sherrill, Shane Singleton, Stacy Singleton, Chad Smith, Michael Smith and Dalton Hill.
