William L. Age 77, of Elmira, NY, died on Sunday evening, October 16, 2005. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the HOLLY-KECK & BAKER, INC. FUNERAL HOME on Friday, October 21, at 11 a.m. Rev. Donald Guiles officiating. Interment of Bill's Ashes will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorials to the American Cancer Society or Southern Tier Hospice. Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lovell; son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Kathy Lovell of Elmira; daughter, Cathy Lovell of AZ; stepchildren, John Born of Norfolk, VA, Lonnie (Michael) Moore of Oswego, NY, Douglas (Judy) Born, Lorraine and (William) Winebold, Susan Born, all of Elmira; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Rowena Lovell, John and Margie Lovell, all of Elmira. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Wesley and Fran; step daughter-in-law, Cathy Born. Bill was a retired Produce Manager for the A&P Grocery Store on Erie St. after forty years of service and former Caretaker of Franklin Street Cemetery, Elmira.
