Davis Wilbur Lenard Davis, 61, of Tallahassee passed at home on Friday, July 18, 2014.Memorial services are 12 noon Saturday at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center, Tallahassee. TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850) 942-1950 is serving the Davis family. A native and lifelong Tallahassee resident, Mr. Davis was a United States Air force veteran and a 1994 graduate of Florida A&M University.He was an adjunct professor at Florida State University, teaching African dance and music. Celebrating his life are his siblings: Naomi (Julian) Canty, Betty Jean, Claretha, Cynthia, Rosalyn and Brigette Davis, Freddie Lee (Doris), Henry, Sylvester (Addie) and Frederick Davis; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Wilbur was predeceased by his parents, Freeman Sr. and Flossie Mae Robinson Davis; and siblings: Verdell, Freeman Jr., and Helen Davis.
