OWEN, Wayne Richard April 13, 1947 - April 18, 2011 After a long battle, Wayne passed away on the early morning of April 18. Predeceased by his parents, Tom and Jean Owen and survived by his sons Jeffrey (Amanda), Russell (Danielle), and Trevor (Ashli), grandsons Zackarey and Carter, sister Bev, former wife Evelyn, and several nieces and nephews, and their families. Wayne was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to Ladner in 1973 to raise his three sons. He was a proud carpenter, a member of running groups, an avid horseman, and a longtime outdoorsman who was very active within the Delta Lacrosse community. A cowboy at heart, he will miss riding and time spent with his beloved horse, Utah. Thank you to all the families, friends and the community of Ladner for their love and support.
