->* Mrs. Walter Mae Bell - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Walter Mae Bell, 78, of Savannah, GA transitioned to her eternal reward on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Saint Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Apostolic Faith Church Inc, 1001 East Henry Street, Savannah, GA. Family Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Michael and Brown Funeral Home, 1429 West Bay Street, Savannah, GA She was born in Guyton GA and moved to Savannah as a young adult. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon William Bell and three sons, William Bell JR, Ronnie Bell and Thomas Heyward JR. Mrs. Bell a skilled and talented seamstress for National Linen Services retired in the early eighties. She was a long time and active member of Emmanuel Tabernacle Apostolic Church. Mrs. Bell served as a dedicated Usher and member of the Missionary Auxiliary. Beloved Mother and Grandmother, she was the matriarch of the family. Loving memories will be cherished by her family: two daughters Corrie Lee Heyward (Savannah), and Mercidene Heyward Atlanta); two sons, Theron Bell (Florida) and Mario Patrick Bell (Savannah); sister, Willie Mae (James) Hall; two brothers, Edward (Tina) Brown and Roosevelt (Verdell) Brown, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, two daughter in laws, thirty grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
