Walter C. Dutch Age 82 of 116 Myers Drive Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday October 3, 2002 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mr. Anderson was born January 20, 1920 in Arnot, PA, the son of the late Victor and Sophie Lindstrom Anderson. Dutch was a veteran of WWII, serving his country with the US Army as a 1st Lt. and was a member of the Bentley-Trumble American Legion Post #442 in Horseheads, NY. He married his wife, Marilyn Mault Anderson, on October 7, 1956 and they would have celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on October 7, 2002. Dutch is survived by his wife of 46 years Marilyn Mault Anderson; daughter and son-in-law: Sandy & Joseph M. Slavin of Elmira, NY; granddaughter: Missy (Todd) Campbell of San Diego, CA and great-grandson Hayden Campbell; sister-in-law: Norma Guthrie of Elmira, NY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Van Buskirk-Lynch Funeral Home, Mill St. & Grand Central Ave. Horseheads, NY, on Monday, October 7, 2002 from 7-9 PM. Mr. Anderson's Funeral & Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY, where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Anderson.
