Virginia L. Jones Hobart, IN Virginia L. Jones, age 85, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Sebo's Nursing Home. She was born in Shoals, IN on February 6, 1920 to Maurice and Gladys (Poindexter) Hewitt. Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing and caring, lovingly for her family. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Adrian H. Jones and her parents; her brother, Elmer; her sister, Hope and great-grandchildren: Noah and Ellie Heminger. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Richard) Oppman of Hobart; four grandchildren: Carrie (Jeff) Hicks, Rick (Ekie) Oppman, Bob (Rachel) Oppman and Amy (Peter) Heminger; 13 great-grandchildren: Lindsey and Erin Hicks, Kyle, Jake, Bailey, Joe, Tait and Abe Oppman, Audrey, Becky, Emily and Tommy Oppman and Zoe Heminger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN.
