Vincenzo Viola of Bridgewater, N.J., formerly of Orange, N.J., passed away on Sept. 25, 2011, at the age of 77. Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange, N.J., on Monday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Orange, at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, N.J.. For directions or to send condolences visit ippolitofuneralhomes.com. Mr. Viola was born in Alberona, Italy, and lived in Orange, N.J., for most of his life before settling in Bridgewater 12 years ago. He was employed with the City of Newark Public Works Department for over 15 years before retiring. Vincenzo lived his life to the fullest and was very active at his seniors building in Bridgewater. He is survived by his loving sister, Rosina Ialeggio, and brothers, Emilio and Nicola Viola; his children and grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.
