Maguire, Thomas J. ALBANY Thomas J. Maguire, 65, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late T. Joseph and Jeannette Brew Maguire. Mr. Maguire earned his bachelor's degree from Siena College and his master's degree from RPI. He has taught math for 42 years at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectady, where he had the distinction of being the longest tenured educator on staff. Mr. Maguire had a lifelong love of the theater and arts, and for many, many years was the director and choreographer for the school musicals at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School. He was the beloved cousin of Sr. Sheila Fahrenkopf, CSJ, Sheila Cancilla (Joe), William Nichols (Ellen), and Jamie StMartin; nephew of the late Agnes Cramer, Frances Fahrenkopf, and Elizabeth Nichols; good friend of Melba Granlees and Helen Fairchild; godfather of Kevin Klimix and Jaime Adams; he is survived by many other dear friends, fellow teachers, past and present students, and future patrons of the theater. Current and former students, parents and friends are invited to the funeral services Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the gym of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School, Schenectady, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are also invited and may call Sunday, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dreis Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, where Thomas will be buried next to his parents. Those wishing to remember Thomas J.
