Theresa M. Kelleher MIDDLEBORO Theresa M. (Smith) Kelleher, age 70 years, of Middleboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at Island Terrace Nursing Home, Lake-ville, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward V. Kelleher. She was born in Cambridge, daughter of the late Fred and Ann (McFarlin) Smith. She had resided in Middleboro for the past 36 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. She was a member of the Middleboro Lodge of Elks, Middleboro Emblem Club and the Madd Hatters. She enjoyed, as a volunteer, helping with the veterans. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and cooking. Survivors include three daughters, Ann M. and her husband David Marshman of Lakeville, Theresa M. and her husband Donovan Major of Orange, Eileen M. and her husband Johnathan Chrites of Middleboro; two brothers, William Smith of Tewksbury, Fred Smith of Florida; four sisters, Ann Bonvie of Medford, Dorothy Pacheco of Lynn, Margaret Hagerty of New Hampshire, Kathleen White of Chelsea; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Edward Ellis. Funeral will be held from the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Friday, at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Middleboro Emblem Club, c/o Ann Marshman, 6 Anderson Way, Lakeville, MA 02347, would be appreciated.
