Mrs. Susan Woodbery Howard, 46, of Gunter Ridge Road, Pulaski, Tenn., left to be in the presence of the Lord at her home on Wednesday, July 16, 2003.She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Pulaski, Tenn., with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until funeral time 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tenn.Memorials may be made to the New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund. Survivors include her husband, John Howard of Pulaski, Tenn.; her father, Hunter Woodbery of Decatur; two sons, Jerry Johnson of the U.S. Marines and Austin Howard of Houston; one daughter, Whitney Howard Fowler of Huntsville; and one grandchild, Jacob Clifton Johnson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Richmond Woodbery.
