PETERS, Susan With great sadness, Susan's family announces her passing on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon. Susan was born July 13, 1933 in the Hague Ferry District to Abram and Helena Peters, the second of twelve children. Susan had various jobs, the longest being at the University working in the maintenance building. She retired in 1998 and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. Susan was able to stay in her own home until just a few days before she passed away. Susan was predeceased by her parents, eight infant siblings and her brother Abe (2011). Susan will be missed by her sister Agatha (Peter) Janzen, sister-in-law Judy Peters, brother John (Lena) Peters, Betty (Alan) Kobe, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Susan's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Home Care Staff and to St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic (20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4). At Susan's request, her family will celebrate her life privately.
