Holiday InnLAKELAND -- Mrs. Shirley A. Martin of Lakeland died of heart failure Sunday (May 25, 2003) in Winter Haven. She was 76.Born in Detroit on June 14, 1926, she came to Lakeland from Michigan, in 1970. She was a room inspector for Holiday Inn. She was a past member of O.E.S. Chapter No. 26 in Lakeland. She was a Methodist.Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Stanley Martin; daughter, Karen Martin, Auburndale; brother, Andrew Hunt, Warren, Mich.; sisters, Gladys Measel, St. Clair Shores, Mich., Fran Vandenbrook, Sterling Heights, Mich.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 this evening at Haught Funeral Home, Plant City. Services will follow at 7:30 at the funeral home chapel.
