Scruggs and her husband of 58 years, Mebane L. (Rip) Malone. Survived by daughter, Marcia A. Malone and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, with Ernest Scarbrough officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, Second Harvest Food Bank or the charity of your choice.
