SANDRA L.WILLIAMS, 61CNA POLK CITY - Mrs. Sandra L. Williams, age 61, a resident of Polk City, FL., was welcomed into the Lord's arms on Thursday, May 26, 2011 of heart failure. Mrs. Williams was born June 15, 1949 in New York City to Benjamin and Emilia (Kadlec) Shaw. She and her husband were residents of Polk City since 1982 coming from Inverness, FL. Sandra was a retired CNA, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. She loved her family & friends, enjoyed entertaining and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Christopher Thomas Williams. Sandra is survived by: her husband of 34 years, Tom Williams of Polk City, FL; son Stephen Williams of Polk City, FL; sister Carol (George) Williams of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter-in-law Jessica (Stephen) Franceschi of Avon Park, FL; 3 grandchildren: Christopher, Serenity & Jaleigh, all of Avon Park, FL; nephew Paul (Sona) Knudsen of Daytona Beach, FL; niece Amanda (Brian) Knudsen of Daytona Beach, FL; great nephews: Trevor & Trent; great nieces: Selena & Trinity. A celebration service will be Monday, June 6 at 3 p.m. in the chapel at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 532 Ave. M. N.W., Winter Haven. A reception will follow. Arrangements by: Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale.
