Sandra Green Smith, 59, of 1659 Gibb Shoals Road, died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital. A native of Greer, she was a Christian, a member and Sunday School teacher of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, retired after 36 years service from GMAC Finance Co., and was a community servant and notary public. Sandra was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Surviving are her mother, Georgia Martin Green, of Greenwood; a son, Jeff Smith. of Greer; one brother, Leslie "Bucky" Green and his wife Mary, of Greer; a sister-in-law, Ann Green, of Greer; and a lifelong friend and companion, Jack Jenkinson, of Taylors. She was predeceased by her father, Leslie A. Green; and a brother, Doug Green. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Wayne Dickard and Dr. Drew Hines. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The family is at the home, and will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 tonight at The Wood Mortuary.
