Ruth Todd, age 89, of 4944 Todd Quarter Road, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in the Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Jim Anderson and Estell Fuller Anderson and wife of the late Carl Todd, Sr. She was a retired employee of the Laurens Shirt Plant and a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church, Waterloo. She is survived by one son, Curtis J. Todd of Waterloo; four daughters, Natlee Todd of the home, Clemigene Anderson of Waterloo, Laurice Rouse of Fountain Inn, Willie Ruth Martin of Greenwood; four sisters, Annie Laura Foggie, Catherine Bryant of Waterloo, Georgette Robinson of Washington, D.C., and Lillie Pearl Lovelist of Laurens; 17 grandchildren, twenty-nine great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Herbert Glenn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
