Ruth Manion Butler, 82, of Louisville, died Wednesday at Jefferson Manor. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, Major General Benjamin J. Butler. Survivors include her two sons, Robert P. and Dr. William M. Butler; three sisters, Louise Tierney, Helen Brisley and Edna Erwin; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with private burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
