LAWSON, RUTH - went to be with the Lord February 8, 2015 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by husband Henry Lawson, mother Stella, son Harry Carringer, son-in-law Michael Smith, and granddaughter-in-law Kristi Brooks. Survivors include son Eddie Carringer (Janet); daughters Carol Stone (Wayne Conner), Christin Jennings (Rob Collins); grandchildren Eddie Carringer II, Joseph Carringer, Janetta Carringer, Billy Brooks, Christopher Brooks, Tammy Brooks, Lisa Atkins, Suzanne Campbell, Jerry Clabough, Sherry Treadway, and Amanda Smith; great grandchildren Tyler, Cayden, Sierra, Calem, Jeremy, Colton, Brittany, Kari, Matthew, Bobby, Coty, Trevor, Trey, and Seth; 6 great great grandchildren; and sister Theda Mae Smith (Wade); as well as a host of other loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
