She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church where she was a Ward Leader and member of the Sanctuary Choir, organizer of the Flower Circle. She was also a member of both The Women's Welfare Club & the Empire State Federation of Women's Club. She leaves to cherish her precious memory 1 son James W. McKnight and 1 daughter-in-law Helen of Los Angeles, California. 2 grandsons Byron K. McKnight and Rev. James K. McKnight (Denise), 2 great granddaughters Jade E. McKnight & Rachel McKnight.
